Dear Brian
I've seen your son Jim twice this week--Jim's director at the Clinton Residence, where my brother Robert lived for many years--and, lucky me, he told me about the wonders of your retirement: the marathons, and the painting.
The paintings are sublime! I have looked at them much too quickly, and wish I had the real things nearer to hand--love, especially, the textures, the way light plays on rock and wood -- and your feeling for the mysteries and beauty of nature...
Also: the playfulness of your constructions (J. Cornell-like?)...
I am saving the film,b ut hope to watch that, and give myself more time with your paintings soon.
All best

I really do love your work Brian and visit your site from time to time for inspiration. I would like to own one of your paintings one day in the not too distant future.
